Nestled within the city of Dunnellon, the Dunnellon Public Library is key to supporting the educational, learning and social needs of every person in the community. It is a vital resource for helping parents become their child’s first teacher, for providing homework help for all educational levels, for providing a wealth of resources for homeschoolers and for adult learners preparing to take the GED, for taking online, post-secondary classes or for continuing their lifelong learning.
The Dunnellon Public Library partners with community agencies such as Marion Technical College, CareerSource CLM, Early Learning Coalition of Marion County, Project LIFT, United Way Strong Families and others to provide programs and training, technology and equipment, space, resources and trained library staff available to support the efforts of Progress Dunnellon.
On Site GED/ESOL Classes-in partnership with Marion Technical College, the Dunnellon Public Library hosts the GED/ESOL classes for area students weekly. And to better enable these same students to complete necessary course assignments and improve digital literacy, the public library also provides chromebook computers and hotspots to enrolled students.
Career Cruising database- this online career, education and job resource serves students K-12, as well as adult learners and job seekers. It is a comprehensive career development program that provides learning resources for students and can be accessed via a library card and pin number.

Career Counseling Sessions- in partnership with CareerSource, the public library will serve as a host site for CareerSource counselors to assist students and the public with endeavors to increase and enhance the skills and knowledge necessary to develop a career path.
